Hi, I'm Katrin.

Four years ago, I got my first poodle, Chia. Like most poodle owners, I quickly learned that keeping a curly coat soft, tangle-free and actually looking good takes a lot more work than I expected.

I'm a project manager, so I don't have hours to spend grooming. I just wanted products that made everyday coat care easier—and left Chia feeling like she'd just come back from the groomer.

Instead, I kept finding shampoos that left her coat squeaky, overly fluffy or smelling like strawberries, chocolate or bubblegum.

Maybe it's just me, but those scents never felt right. Dogs don't smell like strawberries. Mixing a sweet perfume with a dog coat somehow made everything smell... less clean.

My favourite smell has always been Chia after she curls up on freshly washed bedsheets. Just clean. Soft. Familiar. That's the feeling I wanted to bottle.

So I started building Zharva.
